Bad software update 16/05/06 ?

Just had a quick read of the following Apple thread:

Has anyone here had any problems yet?

I took the update last night but havent restarted since. Also didnt take the SMC update.

No probs, but read the last post in the thread you linked to

All to do with broken startup items; boot in safe mode & disable the lot before re-enabling until you find the broken one.
