Bad time to buy a MBP?

Would you say its a bad time to buy a MBP? I've looked on macrumours and people aren't sure when the next one is coming out - so what would you guys say? Best waiting a few months?

EDIT: can you move this to apple hardware please - whoops
 
I hope its not a bad time I just bought myself a 13" MBP. I can't see them releasing a new MBP line until Feb next year. Thats just utter guesswork and speculation however.
 
The 2011 model was released the end of February so now should be fine to purchase a new one. If they do any changes it's likely only going to be so it comes with the Internet recovery partition for Lion that is baked into the new air and minis.

That shouldn't be a deal breaker though as I believe the MBP's that ship with Lion should be eligible for a free USB copy of Lion instead which is arguably better than having to re download 4GB every time you want to do a fresh install or if your hardrive gets completely hosed or you switch to an SSD etc.
 
4 odd months wait according to rumours :(

I want to see an ultra thin 15 inch but then again id LOVE sandybridge and an alright graphics card...

Its still an amazing thing to buy!
 
I can't see it being refreshed this side of Christmas. Even if it is, they'll still be on Sandybridge, so it can't be a major hardware update.
