Hi Guys, since i have been using windows 7 RC and now the RTM my PC crashes and get a bad_pool_header blue screen then pc restarts but will be fine after it reboots, then a couple of days later it happens again.

I have reformatted windows today and it comes up so i would think it was a hardware issue but not sure where. Some people say the PSU some say ram.

my pc is about 4 years old and the PSU and ram are the originals from the build.

Any ideas what this could be as when i had windows xp installed i never got this, don't know whether it is coincidence or not.

Cheers.

Chris.

Could be a dodgy driver, which would explain why it doesn't happen under XP. Are you using Windows default drivers or going to the manufacturer's site and getting them manually?

most of the drivers are windows default or found from windows update, the only drivers i install are my gfx card drivers for my 4850 and i install the latest version 9.7 for windows 7.

Other than that there is not much else only software installs.
