Bada 2.0 finally out

I doubt this will mean much to any of you, but anyone with a Samsung phone with Bada on it, (S8500 and S8530) I'm on about really. The Bada 2.0 update is now available through Kies. Updating now. :)
 
My mum is stuck with this rubbish on her samsung wave, only found out when i tried to install wordfeud for her. I dont suppose this update will allow her onto android market as bada is not just a version of android is it?

Anything worthwhile in the update?
 
No, no chance of Android. Bada is Samsung's own 'smartphone' OS. I'll let you know what it's like, it's almost done now. I think it will definitely be worth updating just for a fresh lick of paint really. The UI is different, new FB app etc.

Edit so after a long update I've got it and been playing around. It's really nice, doesn't add too much in terms of functionality but polishes everything up and the UI is much nicer. Recommend.

still shows that i have the latest firmware here and in still on 1.2 :(

after the experience ive had with this phone and support im not going near samsung with a bargepole once my contracts up...
