After having several unresolved problems with my router, I decided to share the internet connection from a PC gateway instead of sharing it from the router modem.

I've had a look at Baddass' guide, and it says that main pc IP has to be used on the other PCs when setting up the connection sharing. I went through Windows Network Wizard, but it tells me that 192.168.0.1 is needed to setup this computer as the gateway. Problem is that this IP is used by the router to be able to access it and change the seetings, and I don't know what else.

I'm not sure where to head from here. Any suggestions?

All you need to do is set the Gateway address on the client pc to the IP address of the PC which is running ICS. So if your router is 192.168.0.1, set your main pc to 192.168.0.2 and use that as the gateway for the other computers.

I may have misunderstood your question / problem so let me know if im barking up the wrong tree! :)

That's what I tried, but Network Wizard Setup said that this computer needed the IP 192.168.0.1 assigned to be the gateway. But I went through the wifi router settings and been able to change its ip.

Now I've got another problem. I went through the Network Setup Wizard to share the internet connection, but the second computer can't connect to the internet. The Main pc can access the PC2, but not vice versa. It says it doesn't have permission to access the network. How do I give permission so PC2 can access the internet?

Make sure that you dont have a firewall thats blocking the ip from accessing the computer.

Ok. I've setup McAfee Firewall to allow PC2 to connect to the Main PC. They both can see each other on the network. But PC2 can't access the Internet. I've set up MAIN PC to allow other computers to access the internet connection (not to turn on or off the connection).
In Network Setup WIzard on PC2, I've selected "This computer connects through another computer on my Network"
Windows Firewall is disabled on both computers.

Why can't PC2 access the internet? If I go, for exemple, to Yahoo.com, I can see the browser title changing, but the pages doesn't load.
