Hey.

I had some rice and didnt fancy leaving the packet/bag open so stuck it in the freezer (had weevles a few years back so dont take chances with opened packets of things.

So its been a fair while (months?) since i put it in there. Would it be ok if i took it out and made some rice.

Just wondering about the moisture and it might have made the rice get that bacteria going, id thought maybe the frozen status of the rice would prevent that but. I dunno.

Any advice if i should try or just chuck it. Its just a bag of asda or tesco branded easy cook rice.

A by the numbers 3 act story with no plot twists lurking in the denouement. However, despite the lack of complexity I was won over by its simple charm and in these troubling times it was reassuring to see good triumph. Well, assuming that Bacillus Cereus doesn't make for a chilling epilogue...

uncooked rice in a freezer.

you want to stick some bags of flour in there too?

how about a tin of baked beans?

Yes flour if i ever get it always goes in freezer to kill any potential eggs in flour. Dont have to keep it in long but i just forgot about it lol its still in. Usually u can take em out after a few days. Luckily i never need flour much only if i try some yorkshire pud and thats rare as just usually buy em frozen and rdy to heat up in microwave for a few mins.

I still can't quite believe this. Surely when you defrost your flour you end up with mush?
