Bah, ABS Sensors

Totalled the rear abs sensors on my mk2 mondeo when changing the suspension.

A bit of research now indicates these things are basically impossible to remove from the knuckle without destruction (as I did).

New replacements have a massive retail price of over £100 each.

Anyone any hints for where I could dig some out? I've emailed various people breaking mondeos but no joy yet.

breakers yard.
on the mondeo are both the rear sensors part of the same one ie replace on you replace both as iirc they are on pumas and fiestas. dont know what the chances are of them being the same.

What model/engine size is it?

Complete hubs (with sensor) are just as cheap...

It's a mk2, so 96-00. I believe the sensors are pretty much the same throughout that year range, but I could be wrong. I know the ABS systems changed, but i'm hoping all the sensors were the same....

You've already said its a MK2, i was referring to model and engine size. I.E is it a 2.0 Ghia?

Sorry, should have been clearer before. I meant the sensors are the same for all engine sizes/trims.

Anyway, it's a ST24 2.5V6
