Well, just got my 1st accident under my belt!
Was coming to a little mini roundabout near Sainsburys in Newton Abbot (near the Penn Inn) and I needed to turn round and go back on myself. So I slow down, indicated right (there's no right turn available) and so to get the car round in one go I go to the left a bit (bearing in mind i'm indicating right), start to turn left and the lady in the other car carried straight on and went into my drivers side
she didn't seem to slow down or even acknowledge I was indicating! The door doesn't shut properly on its own but just needs a bit of welly to shut it, big dent in the drivers side and a lot of scratches on the door/front quarter panel. Nothing really major, still driveable.
She parked up in the car park, waited for me and she gave all her details etc and was all very nice about it. She didn't say 'it was my fault' but I didn't think she would but it was definitely her fault. Looking very guilty and giving all her details straight away kind of gave it away.
Already rang my insurance company and gave details of what happened, and they advised to ring her insurance company to give another set of details. Will do that tomorrow as their claims dept was shut as of 6pm.
So there we have it, 1st and hopefully last accident! Just a bit annoyed and shaken up more than anything. Bah
