So i bought mum a dvd writer for xmas from the local co-op. it was cheap, seemed like a good deal and general worked very well (well, that was after i took the first one back because it was DOA)

Anyway, the 2nd has just failed. Where do i stand? does responsibility still stand with the co-op as its under a year old? tbh, i just want a refund and ill buy her a different one. Im not gonna try a 3rd box  And while i'm at it, would do you guys recommend for ~£100?

thanks guys:)

oh and if anybody's interested, its a cello dr-810. P.O.S

thank you, that's great:)

now, can anybody recommend me a new dvd writer for around £100?

Very pleased with my Panasonic the new ones do almost all formats including DVD RAM which although more expensive is extremely flexible.
