Got home to find a nice brown envelope from Banbury kindly informing me I've been caught doing 61 in a 50. Blah blah yes I am to blame and all such.

The letter says that between 57-61mph I may be offered a speed awareness course. How does this work? Do I just fill in the form stating I was the driver and then I'll get sent a further letter containing either my 3 points/£60 fine *or* an invitation for an awareness course?

I think for the Thames Valley it is £78 for the course.
