Bake or Deep Fry?

Hi,

My friend gave me a box of frozen Samosa & Spring Rolls, they say they need to be deep fried but can you bake them just as well do you think? I don't own a fryer and I don't really like that method of coking things in. If so is there any extra prep I should do as not to ruin my low quality frozen goods even more?

Both suggestions sound plausible to be fair. In reality,
I don't think it's going to make much difference either way and thus this thread was probably pointless.
I like the samosa from Rita's in Southall the most. My friend usually brings me a bag back from there.

Strangely I'm in a similar position. Bought frozen samosa's that seemingly can only be deep fried. I'll eventually get round to sticking them on an oven tray at 180degrees for 30 minutes (turning midway) and see where that gets me.

When I make my own spring rolls instead of wasting oil for frying I simply heat the oven to around gas 6 then spray the rolls with some 1 cal spray or a light oil coating

They turn out pretty good compared to deep frying
