Great game but does get somewhat boring after a while. Checkered deck = cheat mode

Yup, high cards or pairs are the best. Pairs are much easier to get than more cards combo.

This. Flush builds seems the easiest early on but can often be countered by the final boss blind and nullified pretty easy if you haven’t bought a reroll voucher.

You can go into an absolute rabbit hole with strategy but most of the guides use some jokers that aren’t obtainable until you are pulling in the type of scores you can only get using those jokers. That’s when I began to lose interest.
