They've added the 3 new Characters from BG:EE and done some development on the Graphics improving resolution and whatnot will have to see for myself before I can make any judgement on this.

Regardless it's just a damn good piece of nostalgia and a demonstration of how Epically Long and difficult a Game should be to play unlike the quick easy nonsense we're presented with nowadays!

edit: forgot to add that if this does well sales wise we may be looking forward to BG: III

will wait till it comes down in price. A few extra characters and slightly reworked textures cant justify it to me. Unless i see a comparison vid that comes out hugely in favour of this version(BG2 EE) over other version (inc widescreen and res mod)

They modded BG1 using the Neverwinter Nights 2 engine, did they do the same with BG2? Which for me made the new BG1 release a big of a drag as I prefer the Neverwinter Nights modded one If they did or are doing the same for BG2 then pure win imo.

I'll wait for it to come down in price before I consider buying it too, still got it on disc anyway lol.
