Ballistix 2GB DDR2 -5300 Timings

Hi guys i was wondering what you guys are getting timing wise with your Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2x1GB) DDR2 PC2-5300 at the moment i am running this




i still need to test it in memtest86 but it seems ok in windows .do you guys think the timings are ok or could i push it more
 
voltage is 2.259 i did try it at 3-3-3-12 but it wont boot in to windows at that .but i will test it in memtest and see how it goes .
 
just done a quick mentest and so far it came up with one error after one hour .should i drop the speed a little or slacken the timing

i do not believe it will be stable at 530mhz at 12-4-4-4 timmings with stock 2.2volts :)

mine does boot in windows at 600mhz ( effective 1200mhz) at 18-5-5-5 at 2.25Vdimm, and I can do SP 1M, but in less one min. Orthos blend frezze :)

I say that based in lots of testing of my 2GB kit :)

Hi. so out of the 3 above which would give me the best speed . i just had a look in the bios and i cant find anything where i can change it to 1:1
 
Thanks for all the help so far guys .ok this is my settings now .i will run a test on it and see its its ok

 
one other thing i have found is that if i drop the frequency to say 485 it then shows up as me running 1:1 as soon as i push it back up to 523 it shows up as 13:14 ?

yes the 6300 that i have is running at 3.4 .so thats why i cant get 1:1 .is there any point in running the ram faster than the cpu ?
 
at the end of the day the 5300 stuff will easy clock as good as the 6400 stuff .good thing about the Ballistix PC2 5300 is its cheaper and has better timings at
CAS 3-3-3-12 where as the Ballistix 6400 is CAS 4-4-4-12

the high speeds that i where running where tested with memtest86 i ran it for 12 hours with no problems .but every now and then i was getting a lock up on the pc .most of the time it was doing it was when i where doing video stuff . and some of my web pages had bits missing like my home page and ebay . so i did a test with memtest ( windows one ) then i got that error so i put my ram back at stock and i still get it .
