Picked up a 2gb kit of this PC6400 (New heatspreader style) to test out on my P5B-Deluxe and E6600.
Took out my GSkill 6400 HZ and replaced it with this ram and its working great at the same settings:

At PC-8000 speed (500mhz)
Vdimm: 2.1v
4-4-4-12 timings.....excellent!
Paid £115 for them as well !!

Excellent stuff this is and with the excellent lifetime warranty, i would get this over the Geil etc. everytime.

I mate

yes Ballistix are great,thank´s to D9 Micron chip´s :)
but GSkill HZ have the same chips, they do not overclock as well as Ballistix?

I also got a 2GB Crucial Ballistix 6400 kit a day or so ago, paid £135 for mine, very pleased with it, am running at 4-4-4-12 @ 2.2v at the moment, was using a 2GB of Geil 6400C4 ULL before. :)

Yes they are S/Pi stable and memtest stable.
I know the HZ's have the same Micron IC's....these are for a 2nd machine, but i just wanted to see if they performed as well as the HZ's, which can also do 500mhz (PC8000) at the same timings.
These were considerably cheaper though :D

got a set myself for £115 and bunged them in my DS3. They also look very nice!

Haven;t had a chance to test them yet but will do over the weekend!!

Not sure where you guys are getting this Ballistix for £115, doesn't seem to be on this site??
I picked up 2 sets of them from the clearance section for £105 each and can confirm they are the dogs danglies with my core 2 duo e6300 and DS3.
