I've been looking at some RAM on the Corsair website and wondered if these two sets of RAM are the same? The only difference being one has lights, the other doesn't...

In my current PC I've got some Corsair XMS with flashy lights. For my new spec a lot of people recommended Crucial.

Flashing light just means more heat, unless you have a tower with a window, stuck on a shelf and just sit their admiring it, instead of actually using a pc what its designed for, they are pointless, just get the normal ones.

It is a bit pointless, but I'm going to be getting the PC-7 with it's window, so I may as well :p
