Hi, I have the Crucial Ballistix 5300 ram, now I'm at 2.2V now, and currently at 900Mhz @ 4-4-4-12, if I try 950Mhz @ 4-4-4-12, I get the odd crash now and again, allthough its not often, now I tried 1066Mhz 5-5-5-15, got slightly more crashes, should I up the voltage, and is 4-4-4-12 @ 900Mhz good for this ram?

Thanks
Willz.

ive tun my 5300s at 2.35v to get me this:

So if I set mine to around 1200, 2.35V at 5-5-5-15 it should work? I'll give it a go tomorrow, now is it safe with these voltages and also will I notice a speed improvement over my current 900Mhz 4-4-4-12?

cooling? lol

i bought a memroy crab from webbo but i dont think its making a difference tbh lol
k, I'm running 2.2v thru mine right now, and I don't wanna cook 'em. :)

Also, whats a memory crab?

If I 2.35V is cooking them will I notices errors or will the ram die instantly? I've got a 120mm at the front of my case trying to suck air in for the 120mm on the CPU, dunno if that will help cooling.

Ok, I tried 1100Mhz, 2.35V, 5-5-5-15, Memtest86 passed over the 1 hours 20 mins I tried it, as soon as I got into Windows Vista it crashes, and them I got in second time, ran Memtest86 in windows, and it crashes within 20 seconds.

At 1100Mhz, 5-5-5-15 memtest shown them at 4321MB/s, that sound right?

if windowds is crashing, back it off to 1050 or so.

I tried 1000Mhz 5-5-5-15, 2.35V and it crashes again, I am trying 4-4-4-15, 2.35V 1000Mhz this time but with that LDP or whatever frequency down to 4x, I might try 800Mhz with really low timing and see what happens, I dunno if I need to enable/disable any extra options with this Asus P5N-E SLi mobo, seems a really awkward mobo.

That frequency thing set from 5x to 4x must do something, been running memtest in Windows now for around 30 mins and no errors, before I had errors within 10 mins, and that was at 5-5-5-15 2.35v, I am now at 1000Mhz 4-4-4-15-T2, 2.35V and it seems fine, do you think 3-3-3-7-T1 800Mhz 2.35V will be faster than 4-4-4-15 1000Mhz T2?, T1 at 1000Mhz, 5-5-5-15 or 4-4-4-15 wont booth for me, need to use T2.
