Ballistix PC2-8500 Default Settings?

Just about to test these with memtest to make sure their ok (bought off E-Bay) anyone tell me what default setting to us also any advice on overclocking with these sticks? Motherboard DFI LT X48 :confused:

5-5-5-15 at 1066mhz and 2.2v.

Cheers Cob, did my testing at default memory settings and these are the results............... would I be safe in saying this memory is ****d :rolleyes:

They where used m8y. I should have known better, now I have the hassel of getting my money back as no doubt the owner will claim they where ok when he had them or that I didn't have them at the correct settings blah........blah.......blah :rolleyes:

You could always RMA them back to crucial, they have an excellent turn around service. Get the sticks there lets say Tuesday, Back Friday. Give them a call as the web based RMA service will take longer.

I was thinking about that m8y, but why should I :mad:

I did ask if they where working ok to which I was told yes :rolleyes:

Also heard that current Ballistix PC2-8500 ain't as good and only uses single sided IC's where as this uses double sided IC's Modle/Batch: ballistix BL12864AA1065.16FD3 or is it all ****** about the recent Ballistix quality :confused:
