Ballistix problem

Hi,

Am having problems with my 2gb pc4000 kit - basically whenever i use them windows will randomly reboot and the odd program will crash with errors. Running on my old 1gb kit all is fine. The problem is they dont fail memtest? So I am totally confused as to what it could be

Will they be ok RMA'ing without any proof of failure from memtest etc?

The PC is quite old now, 2.4C P4 @ 3.0 (i.e. 250fsb 1:1 as the ram is rated for). Timings are 3-3-3-8 though I put them to 3-4-3-8 which I think is as slack as they will go! Running on 2.8v which is the max of the board, any less and the problem gets worse.

The sticks ran perfectly for about 3months then the problems just started occuring, which leads me to believe the ram is at fault (swapping it for older pc3200 stuff fixes it)
