My 2 x 1GB Ballistix has given up again and this is already the 2nd RMA set I have had. I want to get an altenative so am looking for ideas.
My rig is:

FX-55
Asus A8N-SLI-Deluxe
2 x 7800GT

What would be the best RAM for this? I'm looking at Mushkin and G-Skill or should I go back to Corsair?

Cheers

Paul

I'm looking for some decent RAM as well; so far I've seem kits from TeamGroup, G.Skill (HV) and OCZ that are based on newer versions of the Micron modules used by Crucial, but none of them are available to the UK yet. I reckon the next week or two will present lots of options if we're lucky!

G.Skill HV uses ce-5/6, not Micron

Same boat, I like the look of the regular Mushkin XP4000's. Although the price of the gskill is unmatched, I've heard there have been some problems with them and dont want to go down the RMA route again

I ordered the Mushkin PC4000 Black edition ones from OcUk today. I hope it they are as good as the review I have read.

Gah everytime i come on this part of the forum seems to be problums with the ballstixs. If my set fail my money would be on an set of Muskin or G Skill.
