Ballon d'Or shortlist announced

Gyan is an outrageously poor choice. Alves and Puyol too. It's as if they've just made up the numbers with a token African and some Barca players.

I think with Gyan he's being nominated more so for what he kinda achieved at International level.

For example, he took Ghana to the African Cup latter stages, and if it wasn't for that penalty miss he'd have taken Ghana pretty far in to a World Cup, I think with it being an African based World Cup, they needed a player who did quite well.

He bought Africa together (imho) with what he did at international level.

Kloser, just scored quite a few goals in a very good side, I'd of replaced him with Lucio but don't think either will win so it doesn't matter.

Have a funny feeling, that despite how amazing Messi and Ronaldo have being in the league it will go to someone who stood out a bit at the World Cup, ala Sneijder or Villa.

Yet more rubbish posted about me, I've never once said Ozil isn't good, I've never once said he doesn't have a lot of potential, what I said was, he wasn't even close to as good as people said in the World Cup, he had one great game in the world Cup, Muller had 4-5 outstanding games and no poor games, and the biggest game he didn't play in Germany looked a completely different side. Ozil was the 5th/6th best player for Germany in the world cup, Muller, Klose, Swineyface(no idea how to spell it), Lahm, then Ozil.
You really don't have a sense of humour do you.

2 players from the Premiership - no English man - Rooney did well last year.
