¯\_(ツ)_/¯
If you haven't guessed it already, you'll be needing some bananas. The riper the better... even if they're going black they'll be fine for this.

Here's what you need to do:

1) Peel the bananas
2) Chop them up into smallish pieces
3) Put pieces on a plate or in a container
4) Freeze
5) Once frozen, put in a blender and blend.
6) Eat

isnt that just frozen banana's? its not ice cream at all.

also i think a banana milkshake would be easier to swallow, and you dont need to freeze the banana's just add milk and blend. i usually do this but add protein powder.

Do that but add milk or cream and you will get ice cream. Banana are cold enough to freeze the milk. Touch of sugar and vanilla as well.

Thats not ice cream. You need milk and suger.
Try it, banana has natural sugars in, so it's already sweet, and banana also has fat in it so it has the consistency of ice cream once frozen and blended. To all intents and purposes it's ice cream.

I'm out of bananas right now, but once I've got some I'll make it and add some pics to this thread for all the cynics! ;) :p

You could add honey when blending if you want to make it a little sweeter however...

I didnt say frozen bananas woudnt taste nice on their own. I'm sure its fine.

But its NOT ice cream. Helpful definition for you:

Ice cream is a frozen dessert usually made from dairy products, such as milk and cream, and often combined with fruits or other ingredients and flavours. Most varieties contain sugar, although some are made with other sweeteners. In some cases, artificial flavourings and colourings are used in addition to (or in replacement of) the natural ingredients. This mixture is stirred slowly while cooling to prevent large ice crystals from forming; the result is a smoothly textured ice cream.

That's not milkshake either, that's banana flavoured milk...:p

For milkshake you need some frozen material: Fresh Banana, Vanilla icecream, milk. Add banana and icecream to blender and blend, adding milk for consistency...!

also doesnt this destroy your blender? im pretty sure you shouldnt be putting things in which are really hard or frozen solid.

Do it all the time for smoothies (should alway have one or two frozen fruits in it to give it the right consistency)

Oh, and anyone that adds icecubes to smoothies or milkshakes needs to be shot (especially pertinent to shops/restaurants that do this!)
