I have banana plugs and I can't get them to fit into my mission m71i's or yamaha rx-v100d :S.

Any ideas/advice?

If they are new they will have stoppers in them (this is due to the EU making all speaker & amp makers putting these in to prevent people from other EU countries trying to plug their mains plugs into the back of their amp/speaker for some strange reason ) you may be able to pull said stoppers you with a pair of small long nose pliers or use a small self tapping screw, screw it in slightly & pull gently & said stopper will come out, job done.
Okay thanks for the info ;).

It's because I've got BFA connectors :S. They will fit into my amp but I'll have to buy some 4mm bananas for connecting to my speakers.

Do you mean you can unscrew and remove the black/red cap on the speaker terminal?

If so then that is normal, you would normally just tighten those down, remove the little plastic stopper thing (if present) covering the centre hole and then plug in the banana plug into the centre hole.
I was told by the guy I bought it off: There will either be some small plastic pieces that need to be eased out of the holes, or there will be plastic pieces covering the holes that the plugs should push through with a little bit of force.

Thanks for asking ;). I've not got round to sorting it out, I'm gonna wait until I set the system up at uni to try again. If I experience any problems I'll let you guys know ;).
