Just bought myself a Nad C320BEE amplifier, it has 4 speaker terminals on the back of it, I have a pair of Wharfedale Diamond 9.1 speakers, that I wish to bi-wire onto it.

The Nad will take 4mm banana plugs, can someone please recommend some, so that I can bi-wire (8 separate speaker cables) onto 4 speaker terminals (I do not want to have to solder the cable onto the banana plug).

I read somewhere that I need "stackable" banana plugs, have seen quite a few and really don't know what to get, so some recommendations (ie links) would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks for your help. :)

any stackable banana plugs will work mate, they are all much of a muchness. to be honest I wouldnt waste you money on bi-wiring, bi amping will reap great results, but bi-wiring is simply improving on the quality of the little metal plates that join both pairs of speaker bing post terminals together. its far cheaper and you will get exactly the same results, if you just replace the metal plates with a small piece of speaker cable. does exactly the same job as bi-wiring but at a fraction of the cost.

just my 2 cents

I have found the bay a cheap source of bannana plugs (with screw connection, sometimes stackable). kidloco is right though, and bi-wiring makes no appreciable difference (tried it myself once, didn't hear any difference).

I should really get some because the thought of unplugging my speakers scares the hell out of me, mainly because rewiring them is hell on my fingers. :(
