Anyone know any bands like Velvet Revolver?

Started listening to their music about a week ago.. Love it now! Was into trance for ages.. still am.. but Im starting to like this

Try Monster Magnets - Powertrip (1998) or one of my fave albums of all time Superjudge by Monster Magnet (http://www.funkoid.com/albums/details/2543.html).

It's good music, more chilled than Velvet Revolver and the more grungy stuff thepig@farmer mentioned (i love AIC ) but its all good stuff.

I'm still cataloging all of my discs at (http://www.funkoid.com/albums/) .... all sorts of stuff there but i love VR so its not a bad start

I might get knocked by a couple of people for this but when I heard the first VR album I thought "They're trying to sound like The Wildhearts".
I have thoroughly enjoyed both albums because they could have been wrote by The Wildhearts but don't think that The Wildhearts sound like VR.
I know what I mean.

Yeah Monster Magnet were/are a good band, still around a.f.a.i.k. also Living Color & Faith No More are another couple of bands worth tracking down.
