Bandwidth Question.

I've decided to upgrade my webserver under my desk and rent either a dedicated server or virtual dedicated server.
However I'm getting confused about the different levels of bandwidth various hosts offer.
The sites that I'll be hosting won't have much traffic at all so I cant imagine that I'll need that much per month.
My question is how much do you think is reasonable for a Dedicated/VDS hosting package?
Alternatively, if there are any hosts out there that offer a virtual data pipe (like fasthosts), that would be ideal!

"Virtual data pipe" is, if you'll excuse my French, a load of crap. Don't fall for it unless you like 256k speeds! (That's the last I heard of how it worked, anyway)

Anything from a hundred Gb to a Terabyte is probably the average for a VDS/dedi, so almost certainly more than you'll ever use
