whats the best deal on ram at the moment? looking for good price and good overclocking options

You need to supply more details if you want a specific answer, such as:

Budget, Amount of RAM & Config (eg. 2x1gb, 2x2gb, 4x1gb), Required FSB.

budget is £70 or less i guess
combination doesnt matter, just want to yeild best results
and fsb im not too sure, i want to be able to push a e2200 as far as possible

Still not sure whether you want a 2gb or 4gb set!

If it's the latter, this stuff looks to be best stuff for your price range.

Geil Black Dragon 6400 2x2gb C5 (can be taken to at least 4-4-4-12 it seems) and vary's £60-£70 on here. Very overclockable as well it seems

hmm ok i think 70 might be too much. lookin for 50 and below. i assume i cant get a 4gb kit for that price?

What CPU do you have?

These are rated at 800MHz, so if you're running an E6600 (with multiplier of 9) the best the RAM is rated to do is 400 x 9 = 3.6GHz (it may go higher, and probably will). This is enough overclocking headroom for most people, but this is overclockers so

Nope. That's the new E8XXX series

Hm, joke?

The E2200 has a multi of 11, so I'd say PC2-6400 is adequate
