I have a 2500K i5, 8GB of RAM and a 4790 ATI (which has lasted me quite a while as I'm a casual gamer). Unfortunately this GFX doesn't support some of the newer games and I've itching to play the new Batman.

I'm thinking of buying a bigger CPU cooler and a second hand GFX although I'm not sure what to get exactly. I was thinking about a 670 GTX but I heard RAM on these isn't quite enough.

What do you recommend?

£70-£100 for GFX and £20 for CPU cooler.

Screen resolution 1900x1200. PSU is a Corsair 580w series I believe. Case is a cooler master praetorian.

You might find a 280X for that price.

And a Raijintek Aidos should fit your case, they are £15.

Personally, I'd just spend all the money on the GPU and forget about the CPU cooler as you're not likely to bottleneck any ~£120 second hand GPU with a 2500k at stock settings.

OK - what does £120 get me?

And I was under the impression that overclocking the 2500k gives quite a big performance increase?
