Banger racing in the North East - Where?

Evening chaps,

I bought a banger from work for £50, but I forgot to check the test on it, and to my suprise it runs out at the start of Jan.

My brother usually runs a banger (Won't let him drive my 5 after he wrote his car off) but he doesn't want it.

So I can only dispose of it by either scrapping it, or I fancy banger racing it!

But where?

I have a L reg Renault 19 - it probably will get through its test, but its cheap enough to kill!

I might buy another cheapy if it goes well.
