Rare have released 2 new gameplay videos with developer commentary.

Showdown Town
Banjo Land

Really looking forward to this as there is a shortage of good platformers out at the moment.
When I first heard that the game would be using vehicles I was quite dissapointed but now that I have seen how the game is played I think it's a great idea. :)

Anyone else looking forward to this?

Agreed, now I am really looking forward to this. Looks to have the true Banjo feel from the N64. I just hope it plays like it did on the N64.
 
My Most wanted games on the 360

#1 - Banjo Kazooie
#2 - Street Fighter 4
#3 - Quantum of Solace

Banjo was the best platformer of all time imo, i must have completed it twice when i was a kid (found it a very hard game). I will make sure i secure a copy for myself and take some time off work (when i have a job again :D)
 
Both Banjo's on the N64 were great games, and visually this looks excellent, but I'm not convined about the inclusion of vehicles just doesn't fit right in my mind. Hopefully they'll only play a small part of the game with most of your venturing being done on foot.

If this game is as good as previous Banjo's I'll buy another 360 just for this game :)
