Hey

I'm currentley on one of these pants Derbyshrie "Cashcards" which i've had since I was 16.

And I want to change over to this, because one Ive got now you can't buy over counter or even use it online and my quetion is does this allow me to buy online and oevr counters ect because i dont really know much about banks tbh :D

thnx

that says its a Visa Electron card, its been a while for me but i always thought the electron cards where the bottom of the range and still arent guaranteed to work in all shops and online.

you would really be better off with a run of the mill current account.

Its the standard type of account and its a full VISA card so should work anywhere!

If you are willing to change banks, I would reccomend Natwests Card Plus account, comes with a Solo Debit card (More widley accepted than Electrons) and has access to internet banking and telephone too..

Speaking of that.. I dunno if this is possible but can I somehow transfer everything from account I got now into new one i'm gonna get soon?

As long as I can use it online ect i'm not fussed. ;)

Yup, keep the one you have now open, and just transfer all of it over, or draw it out and deposit at the branch, you can do it online, but that can take upto 5 days...

If your getting a debit card make sure it's a visa one. Visa debits give you almost the same level of protection as a Visa credit card, most other debit cards have no protection so if a transaction goes south you won't be able to refute the payment with your bank.
