Yes the super wides are much better for driving games, I play Project cars 2 a lot on the Samsung 49" and the super wide format just gives another level of realism.

Likewise, but the super wide screens, particular large ones really remove the need for dual monitor setups and its so much better.
The LG in this thread is a deal, its a lovely monitor and at £229 its a real bargain as it has got the Freesync and HDR, though I am still yet to be convinced what HDR does, I just see it as another form of dynamic contrast.
