Bank open on Sunday?

The banks are probably the only highstreet 'shop' that uses any opportunity to close. I remember when a few started opening Saturdays a decade ago or so and they couldn't wait to advertise the fact like going to a place of business at the weekend was unheard of before.

Even now my bank closes at noon on a Saturday.

Christmas is the worst time, they practically close down like a factory does. Christmas Eve? No one needs money at Christmas we'll close; the 23rd? No that's the eve of Christmas Eve we can't work then. Oh and we'll also need a good 4 days into the new year to get over all our hangovers.

That's strange, I find Barclays to be the worst. So bad was my local branch that I eventually felt obliged to close all my accounts there.

They've installed this really cool new fangled 'bank teller' machine at our local bank now. Basically you get a card and you can get money out 24x7 - pretty cool!
