Bankers Draft technical question

If I request a bankers draft made out to company x, but then after obtaining the draft I decide that I do not wish to make the payment, can I simply take the bankers draft back to my branch and have the funds returned into my current account? I know there is usually a £12 charge for issuing the draft, is there a similar fee levied to cancel it?

I would think so, best bet is to check with your bank as they would be in a better position to guide you.
