Checked my account this morning and £12.92 was taken from my account this morning. It comes up as "CARD 24.95 US ON 24MAY RKNETHELPCOM 866812 EXCHANGE RATE 1.93111/$" - if anyone has any ideas that'd be helpful. I noticed that it happened on the same date last month and thought it was just a purchase I'd made.

Rang the bank and they've cancelled my card and a new one will be received within 10 days.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Is this a parody thready?

I think the money was taken in the US (obviuosly) excchange rate was shown for the time it was taken. Using google sis not provide any result. You already did the right thing, just be more careful next time. :)

lol - you're in the same boat as me.

226 quid out in one day on the 24th May.

One went to Eurail Direct and the other to some debt collection agency. Now i have to wait 10 days for Lloyds fraud dept to send me out a form to claim my money back.

Was not a happy chappy.

I searched and came up with that first link too, Haircut.

A&L have cancelled my card and a new one is going to be issued within the next 10 days. Hopefully I'll get the money back too they said :)
