banned from viewing a web page!

I'm completely puzzled here. I've just been trying to visit a website of a national radio station and i have received this message:-

'You are not authorized to view this page
The Web server you are attempting to reach has a list of IP addresses that are not allowed to access the Web site, and the IP address of your browsing computer is on this list.

Please try the following:

* Contact the Web site administrator if you believe you should be able to view this directory or page.

HTTP Error 403.6 - Forbidden: IP address of the client has been rejected.
Internet Information Services (IIS)

Is this some kind of joke? I'm completely confused! :confused:

Does anyone have any possible explanation(s) for this?

it could be a one of error or chances are the website in question has banned a whole ip range from a certain isp and you come under that ip range. or you've been banned using your specific ip. But my moneys on the isp ip range.

Try emailing the admin and explain your problem

I would do but i can't get to the website to get the email address!

I'm getting paranoid here thinking i've done something wrong/illegal! I'm pretty certain i've not.

Look at the site from a different IP by going through a proxy, try http://proxify.com it should allow you to view the site.
