Anyone tried Banshee as a TV box set? Just watched first series and have to say am hooked. Closest to it I reckon would be SoA but is made by those previous purveyors of soft-xx and does have its fair share of boudoir moments but the action is relentless and story is superb with some might fine acting. OK every cliche in the TVB book does get an outing but again worth a look IMHO...

Banshee is awesome, over the top action, lots of nakedness, really guilty pleasure TV.

Just wish they'd pull their fingers from their rear ends and show season 3 already.

Lima...give it time, S1 gets brilliant towards the end and S2 is superb.

Me and the wife watch it, it's a guilty pleasure as it has plot holes you could fit a tank through, the acting is cringeworthy and the violence/nakedness is hugely overused.... But despite poking all them holes in it me and the wife will sit riveted every time

it just works despite all the component parts really sucking

Yea sorry, think my post came across a bit negative. I've only watched first episode and I really enjoyed it. I've got the rest of it downloaded and going to storm through it. I just kinda meant, it's not on the same level as shows like the shield, breaking bad etc etc. But it seems like good mindless entertainment.
