Hey,

Where's a good place to get your hair cut in Nottingham? I wanted to give Toni&Guy a go, but it's far too pricey and seems to have gone a bit "chavvy" in recent years (or has it always been?!).

Cheers,

Su

Personally I go to Miles' on Radford Road ... but I only tend to get my hair cut 3-4 times a year when it's turned into a complete bush so I'm probably not the best person to ask.

There's a few decent barbers in Arnold, Cant remember the names but 1 behind the market and another behind asda/next door to dionysis

Peppers is quite good, there's a couple around town but the one I've been to is on the road Debenhams is on (forgot the street name). It isn't too expensive but if you don't mind paying more then you could probably find a better place

I used to go to Peppers when I was at Uni... just down from the centre, on a side street where there is a subway (graduated a year ago so no idea of the road name), but if you walk down from town, McDonalds on the right, chruch on the left, it's the little road on the right.

Well, I've just come back from Jack's Hair. It's pretty nice in there, I'm impressed :D

However, I think the lady cut my hair a bit too short so I'm not uber happy...

I swear it's *impossible* to find the perfect hairdressers!

Glad they didn't destroy it! I can't really comment on the female stylists there. Men cut men's hair best imo. :)

When I was at uni in Nottingham, I used to get mine cut from Peppers. It was the one near the Pizza Hut, opposite the Corner House. Very impressed with the end result everytime. Used to be a girl called Chantelle (sp?) that cut my hair, she's awesome!

Theres a place down Hockley where i used to go. Think it was called Curtis & York.

Not the cheapest but i always got a nice cuth there. Staff were friendly and yu can have a free beer with your cut :)

Jacks is just round the corner from my work but went once. Pricey and feels snobby in there imho.
