I quite like this, a Chelsea Sportsquilt from Barbour.

I'm 30 and have decided to try and drop the perma-teen look and dress more my age. I'm thinking either olive or blue. What say you fashion gurus of OcUK? What are your feelings on this piece of clothing?

People at university where them these days?! Hmmm.

Housey, you must know me more than I think you do. For all you know I have fifteen labradors and my daughters have private piano lessons every Saturday morning ;).

I don't think you can read that much into it tbh.

Fashion fags, lol!

Just to be clear, I don't want to try and look rich. I am not rich nor do I have a farm or lots of property or a Range Rover. I just quite like the style. I have a jacket that costs a bit more than this now, I don't really follow the line of thought that a distinctly averagely priced jacket is worn by people that want to look well-to-do.

That quilted thing looks hideous, or would look hideous on someone trying disparately to follow fashion.
Leave it to the horse owners and go buy some superdy.

Can't beat a proper Barbour wax jacket though, had one since I was little because I live on a farm in the country. Not because I'm some poncy **** in a rangerover sport trying to look like I'm wedged up.

Superdry? For a 30 year old, really? I always thought that Superdry was worn by young people, not 30 year olds trying to look like young people.

I have some Hunter wellies and live in the country. No farm or lab though.

RaymondLin - they're quite tailored actually. I've tried them on and they look and fit better than the wax Barbours, even though it may not seem so in the pic.
