Looking to upgrade my CPU, ram, mobo and psu.

Currently I have a i7 950, 6 gig corsair dominator 1600, 650 corsair tx650 and gigabyte x58a-ud3r. Recently updated graphics card to a tri-x 290.

Reasons for upgrading are; bored of old system, instability when over clocking (was previously rock solid at 4.1 ghz, then had to lower it to 4, the 3.7 and now it won't even stay stable in a game at 3.6 with crazy volts). I suspect either the psu, the imc or an individual stick of ram is on the way out. Blue screens when over clocking so currently at stock for processor and ram is at 1032 MHz.

Soooo out with the old in with the new!

Looking at a 4770k,
8 gig of 2400 low timings ram,
Good, stable, reliable motherboard.
Rock solid, efficient and reliable psu, 650w-750w good brand gold rating. Must be modular.

Looking at something like a asus z87-pro, Maximus vi-hero, ud4h, gigabyte z87-OC or something of similar standards. Bit concerned about the ud4h read about a lot of issues with USB and other stuff (fixed yet?).

Apart from that I'll have to wait with getting a decent cooler, will probably have to use retail heat sink for a week or two. Till I get next payment or if I sell old parts. Thinking of a AIO corsair "water cooling" unit.

What's your thoughts on the motherboard and psu guys?

Ow also I generally game (titanfall, cs:go, bf4, dayz most new decent single player games and etc). I do enjoy overclocking and will bench a bit as well.

Light video editing, streaming and photoshopping.
