If it's not a cat c/d then it should be at least £800 - £1k more than that?

I think hes priced it on the 2001 plate that's listed but it could be either cat c/d. But I think auto trader will warn you as long as the seller has listed the number plate. But always run a check to make sure. It could be a scam and it'll be "can you pay into this account".

But if its close by go and take a look and see what the paperwork says. If you've got a bike friend who knows a thing or two take them along. That way you can fall in love with it and they'll spot if its a lemon.

2001? These bikes were 02-early 04 production wise?

I'm former automotive technician, so quite able to assess a bikes's condition

. This would be my 3rd bike in the collection.

I guess he saw that one and decided "mines newer but 10k more".

Or he tried someone like webuyanybike and they did the usual stupidly low offer and hes just after a little more than that for it.

But still take a friend. So they can give you a lift to the bike!

That's two years older and it's a 929 not a 954.

Could be the "webuyanybike" thing though.

Two different models of Blade there, one is a sc44 and the one in my post is a sc50.

Na, I have a nice 1000cc GSXR K6 in my collection, happy enough with that.
I love the 954 Blade, sure, but not enough to buy any old tat!

Looks pretty fairly priced given age and mileage, maybe a little cheap but probably just wants to get rid.

Nice bike and good mot history, only Advisorys in all it's history were tyres and brake pads.
I think it worth a look, probably it is prices low because of the "high" milage.

Some people just want to get rid of the bike, maybe to open space for a new one or something like that...

How many other 954s of the same age are out there, with comparable mileage, condition and numbers of owners which are priced close to this one? The cheapest I can find is £2.5k and that's a bit of a dog!

Not bad,even 929s rarely go for much less than 2k. That said my uncle picked up a 2006 CBR1000R for £2500 that basically needed an intensive cleaning session.
