Hey Guys,

As you all know i recently bought a D50 for my holiday to malaysia and i have to say its absolutely amazing. Taken loads of photos which will follow when i get back. Today i bought myself a Tamron 70-300mm F/4-5.6 LD Macro lense for 66 pound :eek:

just checked a well known photo shop in the UK and it's 200. Its a brilliant lense although trying to use it fully zoomed in without a tripod is a bit of a lost cause.

Thats what i thought, but i was only saving 20 pound or so on average AND absolutely no one has it in stock. Every shop i've been to in and around Kuala Lumpur has said it will be a couple of months before they get some more in. It seems the 350D and the D70 are the most popular ones here. I was going to hold off buying the camera till i got here but i didnt want to take the risk of not getting one at and in hindsight im glad i bought it in the UK. I'll try and get some good shots uploadeed to show before i get back.
