Bars/Pubs in London Bridge

Market Porter in Borough Market if you like a decent ale.

+1

Market Porter also has the best service of any pub I've ever been to.
Even if it's rammed (which is frequently is on Thursday and Friday evenings) you'll get served in no time at all and then be asked if you're being served several more times while waiting for them to pour your pints :)

Have you been?

As a bar I found it disappointing.

Unless you book in advance, I found that it was absolutely packed to such an extent I couldn't even see out the window. Other places are better from drinks, view and atmosphere perspective

Yeah, though in fairness I was there around 2pm with clients after eating at Oblix. That time of day it was very relaxed and calm, with daylight supplementing the views. This time of year I'd rather go to Radio's rooftop bar or Albannach, though neither are close to London Bridge.

Ah fair, yeah, I was there the Thursday of Halloween night... Almost opposite situations...

I'd go with Paramount, maybe Duck & Waffle if I was looking for a good view :) (good luck getting into D&W though)

A big thumbs down for the Market Porter - the ales are rarely well kept and it is always rammed.

The best pubs near London Bridge are a few minutes down the road. Either the Lord Clyde or Royal Oak (on different sides of Borough station) are the best in the area.
