Basic 15" laptop for word processing

hi, what would your recommendations be, i'm looking for a basic laptop for word processing and checking emails only, would like a 15" screen

If you just want to do some word processing, you can theoretically go for any laptop out there. Depends on the budget of course if you'd like to have some extras, like some higher-res display, more storage, more RAM etc. but for Word processing it isn't really needed, it's just a question of quality. Also have a look at portability and battery power if you want to take it with you rather than using it as a desktop replacement.
