Hi all

Completely out of the loop and a bit of a boring post but please could someone recommend a GPU capable of running 3x 24” monitors. Only used for 1080p productivity (music production) tasks rather than 4K high FPS gaming etc.

Rig will be an AMD X570 motherboard and 3900X CPU if that helps determine things.

Don’t really have a budget in mind, just need something fit for purpose. Bonus points if people know of suitable monitors to go with it.

It looks like other than Quadro type cards, the outputs are different connectors, does this matter? Do people use different cables or the same type of cables with adaptors? Any benefit to either option?

Thanks all

A second hand GTX 400/500 series card will more than suffice, I ran a GTX 580 with three screens without problem, you don’t need the grunt of the 580, a lower end variant will be fine as they have three display outputs, two DVI and an HDMI usually (which are sometimes mini) CEX sell second hand GTX 560’s for £18, I’m sure you’d bag one cheaper than that though via auction sites etc or indeed the members market here if you have access. :)

New you could get this , a GT730 for under £40 but frankly you’d get better for a lot less by going used.
