Basic cpu temp question

First time overclocking gonna give it a bash. Quick question my idle temp is 40c is that high and what temp shouldnt i get it too?

Thanks everyone.
Im using amd overdrive to overclock and atm its 200mhz more, probably gonna take a couple hours before it gets to a higher clock is it safe just to leave on while i go work?

Surely while the cpu is in the middle of overclocking the cpu is under 100% load so the temp im getting now (52c) is what itll be like when under load like playing games etc?

Just done some overclocking please take alook at the pic. My pc starts up all right and runs 3dmark vantage and plays games fine and even better.

Ok my pc has crashed twice today so there must be something wrong with my overclock?
Just trying prime95 its been running for 10 mins and the temp started at 44c its at 58 already.
