Just wondering if you can see immediate problems with the layout or general structure of this one page masterpiece... How bad does it look, really?

qqg3blank.freehostia.com (freely hosted too...)

Quickly mocked this up trying to get to grips with css these last couple of weeks, content is temporary and the coding is a mess because I can't be bothered to clean it up at the moment, oh, and don't worry about the colour scheme either.

Cheers.

That's not bad.

Your CSS Validates perfectly with W3C - however, your HTML does not - but a quick scan has shown that it is the YouTube embeds that cause the errors.

The layout and overall presentation isn't bad either - nice and simple presentation.

Also, using the <h1>, <h2>... tags will give you bonus points when it comes to Search Engine Optimisation.

Yeh I noticed that, those embeds are just place holders really because I had some problems putting images there instead (still working on it...)

I'm not hot on seach engine optimisation but thanks!

LIke that, nice and clean looking. Personally I'd maybe making the font a darkish/bluey grey and slightly bigger.

You should also be using swfobject.js (google this...) to display flash videos on your site.

The layout looks nice and clean and I think the colours work.

The top content area is off in Safari though, I had to vertical scroll to see it.

That's interesting, will have to go find a Mac and have fiddle with this, very odd.

Although I have had problems relating to the position of everything on the page. I have tried my best to make it resizable so it trys and keeps itself within the browser window but I havn't perfected it yet.

Will have a gander over the "swfobject.js" malarky, thanks.

Thanks for looking guys, looks like I got things to do yet!

Just download Safrai or Chrome for the PC!!

I like it. Clean, simple and bold.

Pretty nice... obviously it can be refined, but the layout works, the spacing is pretty good, and the code is clean.
