Morning
i am trying put together a gaming rig for a mate of mine
its been a while since ive stopped playing around with pcs
would this do for basic gaming? wow, wot etc
any suggestions or improvements are welcome! :)

intel i3 4160
4x2gb crucial balistix 1600hz
asus r9 270x direct cuii oc
thermaltake core v1 mitx case
msi z87i ac mobo

what is the safest bet on psu? i was thinking along the lines of 400w bronze
storage will be 240gb ssd
Thanks

Thanks for a swift reply
Cant believe i've typed 4x2gb on ram.. :D suppose to be 2 sticks of 4gb
budget is roughly 300-400
better to get a branded psu? i dont think he will be upgrading at all
currently 270x directcuii is some price from the competitor

in the end decided to go with:
g3258, hopefully will oc to 4.0-4.5
7950 sapphire oc
z87i ac
aerocool xpredator cube
geil 8gb 1866hz
sandisk 256gb enterprise x110
aerocool 650w ap-pro psu
spent much less than intended as well
Thanks for all the help :)

mobo i got for just over 40 brand new, which is not a bad deal considering the features it has.
ive got a scythe shuriken lying around to replace stock cooler
psu is not the best choice i've made but wanted to try it out, can always swap if needed

PSU-wise, how does the following sound?
EVGA 500W 80 Plus Bronze Power Supply (100-B1-0500-KR)
Cooler Master B500 V2 80+ 500 Watt

depending on the bios, fingers crossed its the latest one :D
reading horror stories that you cant oc that cpu on the mobo, multiplier with lock itself
