Hi all, thinking of buying some stuff off iTunes and I have a few questions about it that i've not gotten answers to my satisfaction about from looking on the net.

- What is the music and video quality like? I understand that you can pay for better quality but what are the two qualities like? Can you tell the difference between them and something like straight off a CD (i.e FLAC)?

- Can you redownload music as many times as you like, i.e if you accidentally format without thinking?

- If you download to a PC or Mac, does this affect how you can download to an iPod/iPhone or is it all one account - i.e does one purchase cover all devices?

- Do the same rules on redownloading and downloading on Mac/PC vs iPod/iPhone apply when talking about video and TV shows?

- Is pricing generally competitive with other online sources of music/DVDs or is it a bit "hit and miss"?

Thanks.

I think they are pretty strict on the re downloading of music due to licensing reasons.

I think 1 account covers all devices in fact i'm sure of it.

Knowing apple they will be cheaper places to buy stuff:o:p

Well yeah, I guessed that. I was wondering HOW strict. :p

Cool, thanks.

I expected there to be places on the internet cheaper than iTunes but I was just wondering how they tend to stack up compared to say, the high street?

- Quality depends, some of the video's look good, some look "alright" you do have the option for a HD download on newer releases and they tend to look good :)

Never had a problem with sound quality either, good speakers / headphones and I've never noticed, but then again I'm not mega anal about sound.

- Not sure, I'm not sure you can redownload things without good reason, tend to store it on a separate HDD (or I used to) and then just have a back up of that occasionally just incase.

- You have one account, I'm sure with the cloud coming in to effect you'll be able to access your music from much more devices (see point above) Doesn't really matter if it's on PC / Mac > on to device. I went from iTunes on PC to my MacBook Pro. Moved music across, no problems at all btw.

- Found songs to be pretty good value and a lot easier, I still buy CD's from time to time, my DVD collection is probably over 1300 ish and I still occasionally download a film to my Macbook too. They have sales and offers on all the time, sometimes hard to keep track of tbh.
