I haven't touched my pc since the beginning of last year and now I'd like to replace the Asrock 775Dual-VSTA board that I have. Primarily as it only has a x4 mode pci-express slot. I don't want to spend a lot if I can help it, around £50ish

I currently have:

e6300 with Freezer Pro64 cooler
7900gs
2 * 1gb PC5300

Any advice appreciated

edit - I was looking at the Gigabyte P31-DS3L but got a bit confused about it's memory limitations

I know you want to keep the price down but i would recommend you spend 70 notes on a mobo then you have a good choice of mobo's .

Thanks guys. Just out of interest, what should I be looking out for? IE Is PCIE 2.0 important?

I have a gigabyte P35 DS4 mobo so not the most up to date and what you mention i believe is more important to a dual gfx card setup but i may be wrong :p , if you got a standard version of the P45 chipset then you will get the latest technology which is always handy .
